Introduction

The CAE Quality Management System is in line with International requirements and is an acknowledgement of CAE’s commitment to quality. CAE has been accredited with internationally recognised Quality Management Certificate ISO 9001:2000 for many years and in November, 2009 this was upgraded to an ISO 9001:2008 certificate by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. CAE was recently recertified to ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.

Management Review

Management review is conducted every 3 months to review suitability and effectiveness of the Quality Management System. The potential deficiencies noted are reviewed and suitable corrective/preventive actions are initiated.

Quality Audit

Third party “Lloyd’s Register for Quality Assurance Ltd.” conducts regular audits (every six months) to ensure strict compliance to ISO 9001:2008.

Periodical audits are conducted by our clients and original Equipment Manufacturers to ensure our compliance to Project Quality Plan.

A team of internal auditors, led by Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2008, conduct periodical internal quality audits to ensure compliance to documented Quality Management System and continual improvement.

Continual Improvement

CAE top management and executives are dedicated to continual improvement, which is translated into the Quality Policy of CAE. Top management of CAE ensures the achievement of any dynamic Quality Objectives.

The Continual Improvement Process in the Quality Management System is used by CAE to achieve ever increasing levels of operational performance and client satisfaction. Trainings, Data Analysis using Statistical Techniques, Kaizen and Six Sigma Methodology are amongst a few practices followed for this purpose.
